Using the Kanban Pipeline

The Kanban view is a visual board that displays your leads as cards organized in columns. Each column represents a lead stage, and you can drag and drop leads between columns to update their status.
Accessing Kanban View
- Navigate to the Leads module
- The Kanban view is the default view
- If you're in Table view, click the "Kanban" button to switch
Understanding the Board
Columns (Stages)
- Each column represents a lead stage
- Columns are ordered from left to right (earliest to latest stages)
- Column headers show the stage name and count of leads
Cards (Leads)
- Each card represents a single lead
- Cards show key information at a glance
- Color coding may indicate priority or status
Card Information
Each lead card typically displays:
- Lead Name or Client Name
- Orchestra/Venue
- Next Action (if set)
- Priority indicator
- AI Score (if enabled)
- Quick actions (view, edit, etc.)
Basic Operations
Viewing a Lead
- Click on a card to open the lead details
- View full information, history, and related items
- Close the details view to return to the board
Moving a Lead Between Stages
Method 1: Drag and Drop- Click and hold on a lead card
- Drag it to the desired stage column
- Release to drop the lead in the new stage
- The stage is automatically updated
- Click the menu icon (three dots) on a card
- Select "Change Stage"
- Choose the new stage from the dropdown
- Confirm the change
Adding a New Lead
- Click "+ Add Lead" button (usually top-right)
- Fill in the lead form
- The new lead appears in the selected stage column
Advanced Features
Filtering in Kanban View
You can filter leads while in Kanban view:
- Click the Filter button
- Select filter criteria:
- Client - Show leads for specific clients
- Stage - Show specific stages only
- Next Action - Filter by action type
- Priority - Filter by priority level
- Date Range - Show leads created/updated in a date range
- The board updates to show only matching leads
Searching
- Use the Search box at the top
- Type lead name, client name, or orchestra
- Results filter in real-time
- Clear search to see all leads again
Sorting
Cards within each column can be sorted by:
- Priority (High to Low)
- Date Created (Newest first)
- Next Action Date (Upcoming first)
- AI Score (Highest first)
Customizing the View
Collapsing Columns
- Click the collapse icon on a column header
- Hide columns you're not currently working with
- Expand again when needed
Column Width
- Some columns may be wider if they have more leads
- The board automatically adjusts
- Scroll horizontally if needed
Card Display Options
You can customize what information shows on cards:
- Compact view - Minimal information
- Detailed view - More information visible
- Custom fields - Show specific custom fields
Best Practices
1. Regular Updates
- Move leads through stages as progress happens
- Don't let leads sit in the same stage too long
- Update stages during or immediately after interactions
2. Visual Organization
- Use the board to identify bottlenecks
- Look for columns with too many leads
- Identify stages where leads get stuck
3. Quick Actions
- Use drag-and-drop for fast stage updates
- Right-click or use menu for additional options
- Keep the board clean and organized
4. Focus Areas
- Collapse columns you're not working on
- Filter to focus on specific clients or stages
- Use search to quickly find specific leads
Workflow Tips
Daily Review
- Open Kanban view each morning
- Review leads in "New" and "Contacted" stages
- Check "Next Action" dates for today
- Move leads forward as appropriate
Weekly Planning
- Review all stages
- Identify leads that need attention
- Plan follow-up actions
- Update stages based on progress
Monthly Analysis
- Review stage distribution

Keyboard Shortcuts
- Arrow Keys - Navigate between cards

Troubleshooting
Issue: Can't Drag and Drop
Solutions:- Make sure JavaScript is enabled
- Refresh the page
- Check browser compatibility
- Try a different browser
Issue: Cards Not Updating
Solutions:- Refresh the page
- Clear browser cache
- Check your internet connection
- Contact support if issue persists
Issue: Too Many Cards in One Column
Solutions:- Use filters to narrow down
- Consider splitting into sub-stages
- Review if leads should be moved forward
- Use table view for detailed analysis
Switching Between Views
Kanban to Table
- Click "Table View" button
- See all leads in a sortable list
- More detailed information visible
Table to Kanban
- Click "Kanban View" button
- Return to visual board
- Drag and drop functionality restored
