This guide walks you through creating your first email campaign from start to finish.
> Note: You need at least one recipient list before creating a campaign.

Step 1: Basic Information
To create a new campaign:
- Campaign Name: A descriptive name (e.g., "Spring Concert Series 2025")
- Email Subject: The subject line for your emails
- Client (Optional): Link to a specific client
- Description: Additional notes about the campaign

Step 2: Select Email Template
Choose how you want to create your email content:
Option A: Use Existing Template
- General Templates: Available to all users
- Client-Specific Templates: Linked to specific clients

Step 3: Select Recipient Lists
Choose one or more recipient lists for your campaign:
Types of Recipient Lists
- Pre-populated lists (e.g., "Opera Houses - Level A", "Orchestras - Germany")
- Available to all users
- Automatically updated
- Your personal lists
- Custom contact lists you've created
- Only visible to you
- Lists with manually added contacts
- Appear in a separate "Custom Lists" section
- Useful for targeted campaigns

- Check the boxes next to lists you want to include
- Recipients from all selected lists will be combined
- Duplicate contacts are automatically handled
